Fitment is determined by matching the tire's size designation with your wheel's dimensions. The tire's rim diameter must exactly match your wheel size (for example, an 18-inch tire requires an 18-inch wheel). For the best fit, check the "Approved Rim Width" in the tire specifications or use our Vehicle Visualizer to find compatible options for your vehicle.
Mileage warranties vary depending on the specific tire model and performance category. Touring, highway, and most all-season tires typically include a manufacturer mileage warranty, while winter, ultra-high-performance, and off-road tires generally prioritize traction and handling over tread life and may not include a mileage warranty.
To maximize tire life, check tire pressure at least once a month when the tires are cold and follow the pressure recommended by your vehicle manufacturer. Rotate your tires every 5,000 to 7,000 miles, maintain proper wheel alignment, and inspect tread wear regularly to ensure even performance and safe driving.
Every tire has a DOT (Department of Transportation) code stamped on its sidewall. The last four digits represent the week and year of manufacture (for example, 1225 indicates the 12th week of 2025). Tire manufacturers generally recommend replacing tires after 6 to 10 years, regardless of tread depth, because the rubber naturally ages over time.
